We’ve made it to Graceland and have checked into the hotel right next door to my hero’s home. Weather is amazing here, 33 degrees celsius mid afternoon!
Once we were checked in at the hotel my son ensured we made our way to Tupelo, birthplace of The King. It’s a 160km (100 mile) trip from the hotel and takes about an hour forty to get there. Thankfully the bus had air conditioning!
I remember about 2 years ago when my other son Dave and his family traveled here and did a video call from his phone to our computer back home. Was amazing to talk to him and see the grounds where Elvis was raised. I’m so happy to be back here all these years since my last visit!
