Ever seen hundreds of American muscle cars in one place, in New Zealand at that!! Last week was the annual Americana event hosted in New Plymouth. This thing is massive with hundreds of new and old American vehicles. Petrol head heaven!!
This years event was held on 20-23rd February at TSB Stadium. If you've not seen this event before check out the great video below of the 2018 event.
What made the event even more amazing for us here at the museum was the US Ambassador to New Zealand Scott Brown and his wife Gail called by the museum. Both Gail and Scott were great to chat with and I'm sure they enjoyed the touch of home right here in NZ! Was also great to get a shout out on local Mayor Ross Dunlop's Facebook page and a tweet from Ambassador Brown's official Twitter account!
